What should I do if the image output from my UV printer is too dark and not bright enough?

Sometimes, in the UV printer printing process, the operator found that the pattern editing process has not been modified, the ink has not been replaced, the same nozzle state is also good, but the image printed on acrylic (as shown) is not bright enough, very dark feeling, that is where the problem?

The role of the uv printer curve is specifically to deploy the proportion of colour, the uv printer output image in accordance with the specified requirements of 100% restoration out. When the operator set up the printing accuracy, PASS channel, there is a small setting is to reduce the value of the darker part of the curve behind.

If the value of the dark colour is too high, it will inevitably reduce the bright effect of the final pattern. It is worth noting that different materials due to light transmission, bright type and other reasons, the same set curve dark colour in different materials will be some normal colour, some lack of dark, which requires technicians to continue to accumulate the corresponding experience.

Reason 1: print settings in the ink volume is too low

Usually uv printer image control software, there will be 40%, 60%, 80%, 100% and other different ink output control. Operators such as inexperienced, will be originally to 100% of the ink volume with 80% of the ink volume printing, which will cause the output image is relatively light. The solution is to increase the ink volume.

Reason 2: Printed PASS is too low

Different PASS print out pattern colour and accuracy is different, usually in some material smaller objects, with high PASS for printing, which can make the pattern clear, colorful; if it is a large format printing, you can choose a lower PASS for printing. This requires the technician to set the PASS for printing on different materials based on actual experience.

Reason 3: The influence of the material

The transparency, gloss, smoothness and other characteristics of the substrate itself will affect the final uv printing effect, resulting in some lighter and some darker output images. In addition to the visual error of the naked eye, some materials have adsorption effect on the ink, some materials have a dissolving effect on the ink. As an example, in the conventional acrylic printer printing patterns, UV printers only need 80% of the amount of ink can be, a little more will cause the image is deeper.
