How to keep your UV printer printhead in top working order?

Many customers will buy back the uv printer, because they do not know how to maintain the prin thead and lead to frequent blockage or damage to the print head, the best way to maintain the best working condition of the print head, is that you do some effective daily maintenance of the print head.

I. After the installation of the equipment, as well as the initial start-up of the equipment for the maintenance of the print head

  1. In order to make the print head into the best operating condition, in the uv printer officially began to undertake the production of business before, please be sure to use 1 to 2 days to print as many images as possible, the best picture is CMYK 4 colours are used, and in the picture of the 2 sides are to add C, M, Y, K 4 colour strip to ensure that the 4 print heads are always in the inkjet state.
  2. When spray painting it is best to take out the moisturizing sponge in the rightmost cleaning station together with its bracket.

Ⅱ. How to work every day after the completion of the maintenance of the printhead

After all the printing jobs are completed every day, in order to keep the printhead in the best working condition and avoid blocking the print heads due to the volatile uv ink, please follow the following methods to maintain the printhead after the equipment overnight.  

  1. Turn off the uv flatbed printer power.
  2. First with a special cleaning solution to clean the moisture sponge, and then pour the cleaning solution on the sponge to make it wet.
  3. Move the machine head back to the rightmost cleaning station and make the print head and moisturizing sponge close together.
  4. Keep the unit in this state overnight.

Ⅲ. Found after the print head is slightly clogged processing methods

  1. In the spray painting process found in the print head after a slight blockage phenomenon should not hesitate to press the PAUSE key to pause the printing operation, and then use a syringe or manual air pump to make ink from the print head spray print head cleaning, cleaning is completed must be used to spray some cleaning fluid to the print head surface to wash away residual ink.
  2. Note: Do not use the manual air pump with excessive force, otherwise it will be too much pressure and damage to the print head.
  3. Decisive and thorough treatment of minor print head blockages is essential to keep the print heads working optimally during long print runs!

In addition, it is also necessary to carefully check the print head condition and find out where the cause of the print head blockage lies.

Ⅳ. The equipment is expected to be temporarily not used for more than 48 hours to deal with the method

If the equipment is not expected to be used for more than 48 hours, the ink in the print head must be cleaned, otherwise the ink in the print head will gradually evaporate because of the solvent and dry, serious and even irreversible damage to the print head. Treatment methods are as follows:

  1. Close the uv flatbed printer power.
  2. The machine head to the left end of the clean position, put a corrosion-resistant container under the print head for holding cleaning waste liquid.
  3. With a glass syringe to draw out or directly pour out the ink in the secondary ink tank, and then use a special cleaning solution to wash the secondary ink tank clean.
  4. Unplug the ink supply tube from the print head and then use a glass syringe to extract 40ml of special cleaning fluid to clean the print head, do this 2 times in total. Finally do not blow clean the residual cleaning fluid in the print head, be sure to leave enough cleaning fluid inside the print head, because the cleaning fluid can play a moisturizing effect on the print head.
  5. The treated print head into a clean corrosion-resistant container and sealed (with cling film is good) up can be stored for about 1 month.
